연구 목적: 본 연구의 목적은 범죄발생과 경비산업에 대한 관계를 살펴보고, 범죄예방효과를 확인하기 위해 범죄에 대한 국민 범죄안전인식을 바탕으로 실증적인 관계를 규명하고자 연구하였다. 연구 방법: 범죄발생 요인은 2021년 경찰의 범죄통계를 기반으로 발생한 범죄와 4대범죄 발생 건수를, 경비산업은 경찰통계 중 경비업체와 경비원의 수에 대한 통계를, 범죄예방효과를 확인하기 위해 통계청 사회조사 자료 중 범죄에 대한 국민안전인식도를 조사도구로 선정하였다. 연구 내용: 범죄발생과 경비산업, 범죄예방효과에 대한 상관관계분석 및 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결론 및 제언: 총 범죄발생 건수는 경비업 법인 수(β=.886, p<.001), 경비원 수(β=.978, p<.001)에 통계적으로 높은 영향을 나타냈다. 반면 경비업 법인 수와 경비원 수는 범죄안전인식에 부(-)적인 수치를 나타냈으나 통계적으로 유의미한 결과를 나타내지 않았다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between crime occurrence and the security industry, and to identify the empirical relationship based on the public’s perception of crime safety to confirm the effect of crime prevention. Crime factors were based on police crime statistics in 2021, the security industry selected statistics on the number of security companies and guards among police statistics, and public safety awareness of crime among the National Statistical Office’s social survey data to check the crime prevention effect. Correlation analysis and regression analysis were conducted on crime occurrence, security industry, and crime prevention effect. The total number of crimes is the number of security corporations (=.8.886, p<.001), number of guards (=.978, p<.001). It showed a statistically high impact on 001. On the other hand, the number of security companies and the number of security guards showed negative (-) figures in criminal safety recognition, but did not show statistically significant results.
