연구 목적: 본 연구는 간호대학생의 외상경험의 특성을 확인하고, 간호대학생의 고통 감내력과 사회적 지지가 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향을 확인하고자 실시한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구 방법: 연구대상자는 일개 지역 4개 대학 간호학과에 재학 중인 학생들로 코로나19 감염 위험 상황에서 1개 학기 이상 임상실습을 경험한 3･4학년 간호대학생 200명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하였고, SPSS 22.0을 이용하여 통계분석 하였다. 연구 내용: 대학생활 만족도와 사회적 지지가 외상 후 성장에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인으로 확인되었다. 고통 감내력은 외상 후 성장에 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났으며, 고통 감내력의 하위요인인 고통에 대한 평가가 사회적 지지를 완전매개 하여 외상 후 성장에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 결론 및 제언: 간호대학생의 외상 후 성장을 돕기 위한 중재는 고통스러운 경험에 대해 피하지 않고 다양한 관점을 갖도록 사회적 지지를 강화할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발할 필요가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of distress tolerance and social support on post-traumatic growth of nursing students. The subjects of this study were 200 nursing students in the 3rd and 4th grade who were enrolled in nursing departments of four universities in Gwangju and online survey was conducted and statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS 22.0. Satisfaction with college life and social support were found to be important factors affecting posttraumatic growth. but, distress tolerance did not affect posttraumatic growth. In addition, it was confirmed that social support completely mediates the evaluation of pain, which is a subfactor of distress tolerance and affects posttraumatic growth. It is necessary to develop a program that can strengthen social support in order to help nursing students to have various perspectives without avoiding traumatic experiences.
