연구 목적: 이 연구는 부부갈등과 아동기 자녀의 문제행동와의 관계에서 양육태도의 매개효과를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 방법: 한국아동패널 제11차(2018년) 자료를 이용하여 Hayes(2015)가 제안한 Proces macro의 모형4를 적용하여 매개효과를 분석하였다. 연구 내용: 부부갈등이 자녀 문제행동과의 관계에서 양육태도의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 결론 및 제언: 부부갈등은 내재화 문제행동에 직접 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 아동의 문제행동은 내재화 문제행동보다 외현화 문제행동의 발현이 높았다. 반면, 양육태도는 부부갈등과 자녀의 외현화 문제행동을 완전 매개하였다. 특히, 권위주의적 양육태도가 자녀의 외현화 문제행동을 유발하였다. 이에, 부부갈등이 자녀의 문제행동으로 발전하지 않도록 학교에서의 대처 프로그램과 자녀 문제행동이 외현화 되지 않도록 예방 프로그램이 개발되어야 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the mediating effect of parenting attitude in the relationship between marital conflict and problem behavior of children in childhood. The mediation effect was analyzed by applying model 4 of the Process macro proposed by Hayes (2015) using the data from the 11th Korean Children’s Panel (2018). The mediating effect of parenting attitude in the relationship between marital conflict and problem behaviors of children was verified. Marital conflict was found to have a direct effect on internalized problem behaviors. In children’s problem behaviors, the expression of externalized problem behaviors was higher than that of internalized problem behaviors. On the other hand, parenting attitude completely mediated marital conflict and children’s externalizing problem behavior. In particular, the authoritarian parenting attitude caused the child’s externalizing problem behavior. In order to prevent marital conflict from developing into problem behaviors of children, a coping program at school and a prevention program to prevent externalization of problem behaviors of children should be developed.
