Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the mediating effect of academic stress in the influence of resilience on individual thinking ability in students majoring in vocal music at G Art University in Guangxi Province, China. The subjects of the study are 100 students from vocal music major, and reliability, correlation, and regression analysis are performed using the SPSS 25 program. We confirm the structural equation model for the resilience, academic stress, and individual thinking ability of vocal music university students. In the case of resilience affecting individual thinking ability, the direct effect is reduced by being involved in the mediating effect of academic stress. And it is confirmed that academic stress partially mediated between resilience and individual thinking ability. Therefore, in order to cultivate the individual thinking ability of university students majoring in vocal music, school and society should help each student by finding ways to improve adaptability to various changes, improve academic drive, and reduce academic stress.
