연구 목적: 본 연구는 선행연구를 바탕으로 PBL 수업이 대학생의 학습 능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 검증하기 위해 수업에 참여한 학생들의 학습 능력을 확인하고 그 효과성을 검증하고자 한다. 연구 방법: 연구방법은 2022학년도 1학기에 PBL 수업에 참여한 학생들을 대상으로 학습 능력을 측정하기 위해 사전,사후 검사를 진행하였으며 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, t검정을 실시하여 분석하였다. 연구 내용: 이 논문의 연구 내용은 PBL 수업이 학생들의 학습 능력(의사소통능력, 문제해결능력, 자기주도학습 능력)에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 사전,사후 검사를 통해 알아보았으며, 그 결과 문제해결능력, 자기주도학습 능력에 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 결론 및 제언: 연구 결과 PBL 수업은 대학생의 문제해결능력, 자기주도학습 능력에 영향을 미치며 향후 1)교수자와 학습자들의 PBL 수업 만족도와 연계한 연구, 2)교과목 특성에 맞는 PBL 프로그램 개발 연구와 효과성에 대한 지속적인 연구가 연계된다면 PBL 수업의 질관리를 위한 다양한 기초 자료를 제공해 줄 것으로 사료된다.
Abstract
Based on previous studies, this study aims to investigate the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) lass on the learning abilities of university students who attend PBL class and examine its effectiveness. For measuring the learning abilities of the students who participated in the PBL class in the first semester of 2022, pre and post-tests were conducted, and the data were analyzed with frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, and t-test using SPSS 25.0. This study examined the effect of PBL class on the learning abilities (communication skills, problem-solving skills, self-directed learning skill) of students through pre and post-tests. The results showed a remarkable difference between the problem-learning skill and self-directed learning skill. The results of the study showed that the PBL class had an influence on the problem-solving skills and self-directed learning skills of university students. Focusing on First, research on the satisfaction of instructors and learners with PBL classes, and Second, continuous research for the development and effectiveness of PBL programs tailored for the specific characteristics of the curriculum, future studies could help provide various basic data for the quality management of PBL class.
