문학 전시에서의 디지털 융복합 콘텐츠 연구: 『아시아의 표해록』 전시를 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 문학 전시에서의 디지털 기술을 활용한 융복합 전시 사례를 제시하는데 있다. 특히 포스트 코로나 시대에 온라인 플랫폼 기반, 최첨단 기술 활용의 전시가 주요 흐름임을 예측해 볼 때, 디지털 매체나 문화 기술을 활용한 문학 전시 연구는 시급한 과제라 할 수 있다. 본 연구 대상으로 『아시아의 표해록(漂海錄)』 전시(2020)를 선정하였다. 고문헌인 표해록은 자료 특성상 관객의 이해가 어렵고 접근도 제한적이어서, 기획 단계부터 적극적으로 디지털 매체 활용과 문화기술을 채용하였다. 연구 내용과 방법으로는 디지털 「범사도(泛槎圖)」와 e-book 제작, 키오스크와 영상 루핑 서비스, 온라인 전시와 VR 영상 제작 등의 사례를 고찰하였다. 제언으로는 첫째, 『표해록』 전시처럼 문화기술과 디지털 매체를 적극 활용한 문학 전시의 필요성이다. 둘째, 문학 전시에서 문화예술과 과학 기술의 융합을 통해 관객의 오감 체험을 증가시켜야 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to present a case of convergence exhibition using digital technology in literature exhibition. In particular, it is an urgent task to study literature exhibitions using digital media or cultural technology when it is predicted that exhibitions using online platform-based and cutting-edge technologies are the main trend in the post-corona era. The exhibition, Asian Drifting Records, was selected as the subject of this study. The ancient literary genre, “drifting record” is difficult for audiences to understand and has limited access due to the nature of the material, so digital media and cultural technology are actively employed from the planning stage. As a research method, cases such as the digital Drifting Boat (Beomsado) and e-book production, kiosk and video looping services, online exhibition and VR video production are introduced. As a suggestion, first, as shown above, the exhibition of literature should actively utilize cultural technology and digital media. Second, it is necessary to increase the audience’s synesthetic experience through the fusion of culture, art, science, and technology in the literary exhibition.
