연구 목적: 이 연구의 목적은 인도네시아 국방무도로서의 용무도 발전과정을 연구하여 역사적인 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 연구방법: 이 연구는 인도네시아 국방무도로서 자리를 잡게 하였던 당시 행정, 실무, 교육 분야에서 관계하였던 3명을 선정하여 심층적 인터뷰를 진행하고 이를 해석하였다. 연구내용: 인도네시아에서 용무도가 오늘날과 같이 성장할 수 있었던 것은 용무도 사범 등의 지도자를 파견하여 직접 교육한 봉사도 있지만 인도네시아 군이 국방무도로 용무도를 채택하였던 것이 큰 이유이다. 결론 및 제언: 용무도는 초기 지도자의 봉사와 인도네시아 군이 국방무도로 용무도를 선택한 것에 의해 비약적인 발전을 있었다. 그러나 현재 용무도는 세계용무도연맹과 국제용무도협회라는 2개의 단체에 의해 분쟁과 갈등이 있다. 이를 해소하기 위해서는 하나로 통합되어야 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide historical data on the advancement process of Yongmudo, which was disseminated as a defense martial art for the Indonesian army. The research method of this study is in-depth interview. For the population of participants in this study, those who are actually active in the administrative, practical, and educational fields of Yongmudo were selected as subjects. A total of 3 participants were included in the final study. In order to proceed with this study, an in-depth interview was conducted based on the process of introducing Yongmudo as an Indonesian military martial art and related literature and data. Yongmudo was able to grow in Indonesia as it is today because the Indonesian military adopted Yongmudo. Currently, Yongmudo is divided into two groups. It is the World Dragon Dance Federation and the International Dragon Dance Association. The two associations have disputes and conflicts, which should be united into one to resolve them.
