연구 목적: 본 연구의 목적은 입원한 아동의 돌봄실태와 입원아동 돌봄서비스에 대한 반응 및 이용의도를 조사함으로써 서비스 개발 및 관련 정책 마련에 유용한 시사점을 제공하는 것이다. 연구 방법: 대전지역 대형 아동병원에 방문한 아동의 부모를 대상으로 대면 설문조사를 시행하여 총 221부의 자료를 수집하고 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 통계 분석하였다. 연구 내용: 부모들은 입원아동 돌봄과 직장생활 병행에 어려움을 지각하고 있었고, 서비스 선택 시 아동 보호사와 의료진의 전문성을 가장 중요하게 고려하였다. 정부 지원 필요성, 서비스의 사회적 가치, 아동병원 서비스로서의 적합성과 매력성 인식이 모두 높은 수준이었고, 정부 지원 필요성과 매력성 인식이 서비스 이용의도에 유의한 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 결론 및 제언: 본 연구의 결과는 돌봄 공백 해소와 서비스 이용자 만족을 위해 의료기관과 정부가 협력하여 입원아동 돌봄서비스를 설계하고 추진하는 것이 필요하다는 점을 시사한다.
Abstract
This study aims to provide useful implications for the development of services and related policies by examining the status of care for hospitalized children and parents’ responses and intentions to use hospitalized children care services. A face-to-face survey was conducted on the parents’ children who visited a large children’s hospital in Daejeon, and a total of 221 copies of data were collected and analyzed using the SPSS program. As a result, it was found that parents perceived difficulties in balancing work life and caring for hospitalized children, and considered the professionalism of the caregivers and the medical staff as the most important factors when selecting services. The need for government support, the social value of the service, and the recognition of suitability and attractiveness as a children’s hospital service were all at high levels, and the need for government support and the perception of attractiveness had a significant positive effect on the intention to use the service. The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to design and promote hospitalized children care services in cooperation with medical institutions and the government to provide care and satisfy consumers.
