연구 목적: 한국의 국방력을 구성하는 주체인 MZ세대의 병역의식을 분석하여 제고방안을 제시함으로써 한국군의 확고한 군사대비태세 확립과 무형전력 제고에 기여하고자 한다. 연구 방법: 연구대상은 대학에 재학 중인 200명을 대상으로 병역의식과 병역제도를 설문조사 하였다. 분석 방법은 기술통계, t검정, 일원배치 분산분석, Pearson 상관분석을 실시하였다. 연구 내용: 연구대상자 특성에 따른 병역의식과 병역제도의 차이를 분석하고 기술통계를 통해서 세부적인 분석내용을 확인함으로써 MZ세대에게 필요한 병역의식 제고방안을 연구하였다. 결론 및 제언: MZ세대의 병역의식은 남자와 군필자에게서 높은 결과를 보였지만, 병역은 기피하고 싶은 의무라는 인식이 높았다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 의무교육 확대, 국방 환경적 측면의 개선, 병역제도 전환 모색을 제언하였다. 하지만 MZ세대 병역의식 약화에 영향을 주는 세부적인 요인 분석 등의 후속 연구가 필요하였다.
Abstract
By analyzing the military service consciousness of the MZ generation, which constitutes the Korean military power, and suggesting ways to improve it, it is intended to contribute to the establishment of the Korean military preparedness and the enhancement of intangible power. The subjects of the study were military service consciousness and military service system in 200 students attending university. As for the analysis method, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and person correlation analysis. By analyzing the difference between military service consciousness and the military service system according to the characteristics of the study subjects and checking the detailed analysis contents through technical statistics, we studied ways to enhancement military service consciousness necessary for the MZ generation. The MZ generation's sense of military service showed high results in men and military personnel, but there was a high perception that military service was an obligation to avoid. To solve this problem, it was suggested to expand compulsory education, improve the defense environment, and seek to convert the military service system. However, It is necessary to study the factors of weakening military service consciousness in the MZ generation.
