본 연구는 전북지역의 지역문화전문인력 양성사업 참여자 중 전주와 완주 지역에서 활동하는 인력들을 중심으로, 참여관찰과 심층면접 등 질적연구방법을 활용하여 그들의 역할 인식과 정체성 형성을 분석하였다. 지역문화전문인력은 양성사업 참여를 통해 지역문화의 기획, 개발, 평가 등 다양한 영역에서 활동하며, 지역문화 발전에 기여하고, 지역민에게 문화서비스를 제공하는 역할을 부여받고 있다. 연구 결과, 지역문화전문인력들은 양성사업의 목적과 달리 개개인이 경험과 경력에 따른 전문성과 활동성, 그리고 지역의 문화적 환경에 따른 지역성과 관계성 등에 따라 역할 인식과 정체성 형성과정에서 많은 혼란과 갈등을 경험하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구자는 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로, 지역문화 정책의 다변화 환경 내에서 문화전문인력 양성의 중요성을 강조하고, 효율적인 정책 수립에 시사점을 제공하고자 했다. 즉, 지역문화전문인력의 역할과 정체성에 대한 이해를 높이고, 지역 문화의 지속 가능한 발전을 위한 정책적 제언을 제시하고자 하였다.
Abstract
This study is a study on the recognition of the role and identity formation of local cultural professionals, and was conducted centering on the human resources active in Jeonju and Wanju regions among the participants in the local cultural professionals training project in the Jeonbuk region. The researcher analyzed the role and identity formation process of cultural personnel in depth using qualitative research methods. As a result of the study, it was found that local cultural professionals have different role perceptions and identities according to the expertise and activity caused by each individual's experience and background, and the regional relationship according to the local cultural environment. The importance of fostering cultural professionals is emphasized within the diversification environment of local cultural policies, such as responding to local extinction through revitalization of local culture, and suggests that efficient policy establishment is necessary.
