《剪灯新话》与《金鳌新话》诗词叙事功能考

在小说中插入诗词是一种完全不同于西方文学作品的叙事模式，《剪灯新话》与《金鳌新话》可说是这种叙事模式的代表性作品，考察两部小说中诗词的叙事功能有助于加深理解中韩两国古典汉文小说的关联性。两位作者继承了古典小说叙事传统，各自在其作品中不约而同地选择“插入诗”来达到创作意图。这些诗在推进情节发展、刻画人物形象、营造叙事氛围等方面起到了不小的作用。与此同时，两部作品各自的特点也是十分鲜明，《金鳌》中插入诗的占比远远多于《剪灯》，比起散文叙事《金鳌》更注重的是诗词，这是符合当时读者们的阅读需求的产物。这不仅反映了诗歌叙事传统下两国文人对“诗”的依赖，同时也证明东亚汉文化圈读者们的阅读倾向。
Abstract
Inserting poetry into novels is a narrative mode completely different from that of Western literary. <JianDengXinHua> and <GeuMoSinHwa> can be said to be representative works of this narrative mode. Examining the narrative function of poetry in these two novels helps deepen the understanding of the correlation between classical Chinese novels in China and South Korea. The two authors, coincidentally chose to “insert poetry” in their respective works to achieve their creative intentions. These poems have played a significant role in advancing plot development, portraying character images, and creating a narrative atmosphere. At the same time, the characteristics of the two works are also very distinct. The proportion of inserted poetry in <GeuMoSinHwa> is much higher than that in <JianDengXinHua>. <GeuMoSinHwa> places greater emphasis on poetry, which is a product that meets the reading needs of readers at that time. This not only reflects the reliance of literati in the two countries on “poetry” under the tradition of poetic narration but also proves the reading preferences of readers in the East Asian Sinosphere.
