상호복잡하게 연결된 현대에서의 전쟁은 단순히 단일 국가 간 전쟁으로 이루어지지 않는다. 특히 최근 러우전쟁 등에서 이러한 모습으로 인하여 연합작전에서의 상호운용성의 중요성이 재조명되고 있다. 이 글에서는 군사작전에서의 상호운용성 개념을 고찰하고, 특히 연합작전 간 작전적･전술적 수준에서의 상호운용성을 달성하고자 미군이 한국군과 연합으로 창설한 한미연합사단(2ID/RUCD: The 2nd Infantry Division/ROK-US Combined Division)의 사례를 분석하여 미래 연합작전을 주도할 한국군에 대한 발전방향을 제시한다.
Abstract
In the interconnected nature of modern warfare, conflicts are no longer simply a matter of wars between single nations. Particularly in light of recent events such as the Russo-Ukrainian War, the importance of interoperability in Combined operations has been reemphasized. This paper examines the concept of interoperability in Combined operations, focusing on the case of the ROK-US Combined Division (2ID/RUCD: The 2nd Infantry Division/ROK-US Combined Division), which was established through the collaboration of the U.S. Army and the ROK Army to achieve operational and tactical interoperability in Combined operations. It aims to propose directions for the development of the ROK Army, which will lead future Combined operations.
