Abstract

The mobile phones have become convenient necessities of everyday life. Following as this demand, various efficient electronic devices were developed and also increased the expectation and interest of the developed products. Nevertheless, there is a possibility of being exposed to electric shock due to lack of awareness about electrical safety of smart phone. An electrical injury is a physiological disorder caused by electric current passing through the human body, ranging from a slight cramping of the muscle to electrocution. Even at low voltage of 220 V used for home use, if contact on a short circuit stage, the current may become a range of the ventricular fibrillation that brings on the electric shock, which may lead to death. Therefore, it is necessary to recognize the danger of the electric shock accident and to find effective and practical solutions. The purpose of this study is to report on the risk of electric shock accident and the mechanism based on the first case reported in domestic.
