Peter Brook's method with actors might be criticized for its vague notion about acting, however his approach can be regarded as a true substitute tool for 'Method acting', which has somewhat its own weakness in terms of using actors' 'expressions of their bodies'. American 'Method' acting, although it has been a major acting training technique for film actors, has its own fault. Concentrating too much on actors' inner aspects, Method acting has been criticized. Peter Brook already criticized and tried to create a new approach. I felt that an investigation of Peter Brook's method with actors could be a fruitful outcome for finding an ideal tool of teaching film acting, since acting training today should be a total tool for training actors in terms of two aspects; Body and mind.
