강도범죄의 장소와 수법간의 관계에 대한 연구

강도범죄는 심각한 중범죄임에도 불구하고, 이에 대한 실태분석과 연구가 부족하다. 본 연구에서는 전통적으로 강력범죄로 여겨지고 있음에도 불구하고 살인이나 성범죄, 절도 등의 범죄들보다 상대적으로 많은 연구가 수행되지 않고 있는 강도범죄에 대해 분석하고자 한다. 근거가 되는 배경이론으로서 일상활동이론, 생활양식이론, 범죄패턴이론 등을 살펴보았다. 범행의 특성상 재범확률이 높은 강도범죄의 경우 가해자의 거주지나 가해자가 심리적으로 익숙하게 느끼는 장소 등의 특징이 강도범죄의 수법이나 범행내용, 대상의 선택 등에 중요한 영향을 미칠 것으로 예측된다. 따라서 이 연구는 강도범죄와 관련되는 여러 가지 변인들 가운데 지리학적 요인들이 범행특성과 어떻게 관련되는지를 중점적으로 분석하고자 한다. 구체적으로 다음과 같은 연구문제를 분석하였다. 첫째, 범죄발생 장소와 가해자와의 관계가 범행수법과 범행특성 등과 어떻게 관련되는가, 둘째, 범죄 발생장소의 구체적 유형이 범행수법 및 범행특성 등과 어떻게 관련되는가라는 질문에 구체적인 답을 구하기 위하여 연구를 수행하였다. 조사대상은 수사재판기록을 조사한 자료를 이용하였고, SPSS 19.0 프로그램으로 변수간 교차분석을 실시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze relation of variables are related to robbery. A robbery is felony because it involves the use of force to obtain money or goods and it can lead to violence or murder. Although the robbery is considered a very serious crime, the study of this is not accomplished a lot. Formal statistics shows the recidivism of the high rate in robbery. Therefore cognition of robbers about spaces or places that crime was occured can be related to crime method, choice of target, victimization typology. This study mainly focused on answering the questions mentioned in the following paragraphs. The first question is whether the places that crimes were occured will relate to crime methods and characteristics of crimes. The second question is the typology of specific places.
