지역사회환경이 범죄두려움에 미치는 영향 : 국내 거주 결혼이주여성을 중심으로

초록

21세기 지구촌 사회는 세계화, 개방화의 물결을 타고 사람들의 이동으로 인한 인구 구성의 변화는 자연스럽게 이루어지고 있다. 이에 따라 최근 우리 사회에서 나타나고 있는 주목할만한 인구 구성의 변화는 국제결혼으로 인한 다문화사회라고 할 수 있다. 결혼이주여성에 관한 연구는 다양한 관점에서 수행되고 있으나 생활적응, 문화적응, 인권, 취업 등 사회복지적 측면에만 국한되고 있다. 따라서 이 연구는 결혼이주여성들이 느끼는 범죄두려움을 그들의 지역사회환경 측면에서 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 전국 각 지방경찰청의 협조를 구하여 지방경찰청이 담당하는 결혼이주여성 1,326명을 대상으로 한 설문조사가 사용되었으며, 조사대상자의 설문거부, 부실기재 등으로 54부가 제외되어 총 1,272부를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 자료는 다중회귀분석 방법을 통해 분석되었다. 연구결과, 이웃유대와 범죄두려움의 관계는 통계적으로 유의미 하지 않았으며, 지역무질서와 지역사회경찰활동과 범죄두려움의 관계는 통계적으로 유의미한 결과를 나타냈다. 연구결과에 기초하여 앞으로 도래하는 다문화사회를 위한 치안정책을 구현하는 목적으로 정책적 제언을 하고자 한다.

Abstract

It is natural that the composition of population changes in this 21st century since people moved to another place by the tide of globalization and liberalization. Therefore, remarkable changes on composition of population in our country is multicultural society by international marriage. Studies on married immigrated woman was conducted in diverse perspectives, but it is limited to the social welfare part such as finding a job, human rights, cultural adaptation or life adaptation. So in this study, we will investigate the fear of crime of married immigrated woman by relating to the local social environment. To do this, we used the survey with 1,326 married immigrated women after requesting a cooperation to each local police agency. Total 1,272 copies of survey was used and 54 copies were excepted with rejection or false record for the survey. Data was analyzed through multiple regression analysis. As a result, relationship between neighborhood ties and fear of crime was significant statistically, but relationship between fear of crime and local disorder or community policing was not significant. Based on the result, we will suggest the policy proposal to realize public order policy for multicultural society.
