본 연구에서는 물류표준화가 기업의 물류비에 어느 정도 영향을 주는 가를 파렛트 표준화를 중심으로 분석하였다. 물류의 기능별로 수송, 상·하역, 포장, 보관, 정보화와 물류표준화의 관계에 역점을 두고 기업 물류실태조사를 하였다. 물류표준화의 기준이 되는 척도로는 표준 파렛트의 사용비율을 선정하였다. 이 기준에 따라 각 기업이 표준파렛트의 사용비율이 상승할 때 어떻게 기업물류비가 영향을 받는 가를 고찰하였다. 즉 표준파렛트의 사용비율이 변할 때마다 각 부문별 비용 변화정도를 측정하여, 물류표준화 도입의 효과를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 물류표준화의 도입은 기업물류비의 상대적 비중 및 비율의 변화를 가져오며, 이로 인한 기업물류비는 약 11% 정도 절감한다는 것을 발견하였다. 또한 물류표준화의 도입은 차량적재효율, 화물파손율, 정차시간 등의 효율성은 증가 시키나, 창고보관공간효율은 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 물류표준화는 차량운송형태에도 영향을 미쳐 약 13.16%의 차량 운행 절감효과를 가져오는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
In this study, we investigate how logistics standardization affects on the firm's logistics cost when pallet sectors are standardized. The firms' logistics standardization level is surveyed in relation to transportation, inventory, loading & unloading, packaging and information system, respectively. The ratio of standard pallets use is defined as the level of the firm's standardization in logistics management. We study how the firm's logistics cost is affected as the logistics standardization level goes up and the ratio of standard pallet use increases. The analyse of the logistics standardization level in the firm is proposed based on the survey data. The result finds that the firm may reduce its logistics cost by 11% according to its logistics standardization level based on pallet standardization. Increasing the logistics standardization by raising the level of standard pallets use, the efficiency of vehicle freight is increased, the damaged rate of goods and the loading & unloading time are decreased, but the inventory space utilization in the warehouse is decreased. This study also finds that the logistics standardization can reduce 13% of the total fright transportation costs by shifting the modal share.
