컨테이너 시장은 COVID-19 사태에 대비하여 선복 조정을 진행하였다. 그러나 예기치 못한 물동량의 폭증으로 물량대비 선복량이 부족해졌으며 항만 혼잡도가 증가하였다. 이에 전 세계 항만의 야드 장치율이 증가하였고 컨테이너터미널 생산성 및 선박 정시성이 하락하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 컨테이너 야드 장치율에 영향을 미치는 터미널 내부요인을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구 분석은 실제 컨테이너터미널 ‘A’사의 다년간 누적된 데이터를 기반으로 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 야드 장치율 유지는 터미널 효율성 측면에서 가장 중요한 요소이며 야드 장치율 변동을 정확하게 예측할 수 있는 시스템적인 접근과 환적물량 대비 적정 수준의 장치율 유지를 위한 다각적인 접근의 필요성을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
The container market was adjusted in preparation for the COVID-19 incident. However, due to the unexpected surge in volume, the volume of ships compared to the volume was insufficient, and the port congestion increased. Accordingly, the rate of yard equipment at ports around the world increased, and container terminal productivity and schedule reliability decreased. Therefore, this study attempted to derive terminal internal factors that affect the container yard rate. The research analysis was conducted based on data accumulated over many years from the actual container terminal 'A'. As a result of the analysis, it was found that maintaining the yard rate is the most important factor in terms of terminal efficiency, and that there is a need for a systematic approach to accurately predict fluctuations in yard rate and a multilateral approach to maintain an appropriate level of device rate compared to transshipment volume.
