The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in investment in innovation activities by type of knowledge service industry. Knowledge service is defined as a service that supports economic activities related to the creation, accumulation, and diffusion of knowledge. This study consists of a four-step research process. From the first process to the third process, a correspondence analysis was conducted. The last process was conducted with a one-way variance analysis. As a result of the study, different behaviors were shown by industry in mid- to long-term business planning, product/service development and commercialization, and manpower recruitment, and this was expressed as a positioning map. In the last process, there were also differences by industry in reflecting customer opinions on innovation activities. This study explained the growth perspective of the knowledge service industry based on the theory of innovative activities. From a practical point of view, it was emphasized that investment in innovative activities considering the characteristics of each industry is different.
