초록
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is fundamentally transforming organizational operations, data management, and service delivery across industries. This study examines ISO/IEC 42001:2023, the first international standard for AI Management Systems (AIMS), focusing on its role in establishing responsible and transparent AI governance frameworks. The research explores key elements such as AI lifecycle management, risk-based control mechanisms, ethical accountability, and integration with existing management systems. Through comparative analysis with traditional standards like ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001, this study highlights how ISO/IEC 42001 addresses AI’s inherent characteristics—autonomy, non-determinism, and opacity—that conventional frameworks fail to fully encompass. The findings indicate that ISO/IEC 42001 provides a comprehensive, proactive governance model that enhances AI reliability, transparency, and societal acceptance. This standard enables organizations to embed AI governance within enterprise-wide management structures, ensuring ethical AI deployment and reinforcing stakeholder trust.
