Metaverse technology is continuously developing along with Artificial Intelligence (AI), and innovative activities utilizing virtual space are taking place in various fields. In the medical field, digital healthcare market value is also taking up a large proportion, and various approaches are being made under the name of medical innovation. Currently, the defense medical field has a system that can analyze and treat patients' conditions remotely, but there is a need to further develop this. Metaverse technology can bring about medical service innovation that enables remote patient and medical staff to interact in a virtual environment. The digitalization of military hospitals can have a positive effect on increasing the efficiency of patient management and improving the accessibility of medical services. Considering the active changes in the civilian medical sector, continuous efforts are needed to contribute to the development of national medical technology in the defense medical field through cooperation with government agencies.
