Literature Review on the Variables Related to Children with Sexual Behavior Problems

초록

본 연구는 아동의 성행동 문제와 관련된 변인들을 탐색하기 위해 2000～2020년 사이에 발행된 국내·외 경험적 연구 문헌들을 검색하여 선정기준에 해당하는 총 15편의 문헌을 고찰하였다. 그 결과, 아동의 성행동 문제와 관련된 변인들을 아동 특성, 학대 피해, 성 노출, 가족 특성의 4개 요인으로 분류할 수 있었다. 첫째, 아동 특성 요인으로는 연령, 성별, 발달 문제, 외현화 및 내재화 행동 문제, 외상 후 스트레스 증상이 있었으며 특히 외현화 문제는 성행동 문제의 지속성 및 심각성에 일관되게 유의한 관련이 있었다. 둘째, 성적 학대, 신체학대, 폭력 목격, 언어학대, 정서학대 및 방임 등 모든 학대 경험이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 성노출 요인 중에서는 가족의 섹슈얼리티(family sexuality), 성 콘텐츠의 노출이 관련되었으며, 이 중 가족의 섹슈얼리티(family sexuality)는 성행동 문제의 지속성을 예측하는 변인이었다. 마지막으로 가족 특성 요인으로는 사회경제적 지위, 역경, 양육 스트레스가 유의한 관련 변인이었다. 본 연구 결과가 아동 성행동 문제에 대한 평가와 개입 모델을 개발하기 위한 기초 자료로서 활용되기를 기대하며 추후 연구를 위한 시사점을 논의하였다.

Abstract

This study analyzed 15 studies domestic and foreign literature to examine the related to child sexual behavior problems. First, children's personal characteristics age, gender, developmental problems, externalizing problems, and post-traumatic stress symptoms were significantly related to sexual behavior problems. Second, all types of victimization, including sexual abuse, physical violence, witnessing parental violence, verbal violence, emotional abuse, and neglect, were related to problematic sexual behavior. Third, family sexuality and exposure of sexual content were significant predictors Finally, family characteristics, socioeconomic status, adversity, and parenting stress were significant related variables.
