초록
This study examined whether there is a positive association between post-traumatic growth(PTG) and life satisfaction(LS) among Korean college students and whether ego-resilience(ER) has a mediating effect between PTG and LS. Using Baron and Kenny's (1986) causal model, which has two pathways leading to dependent variables (LS), 429 Korean university students who reported experiencing interpersonal trauma were selected for analysis. Linear and hierarchical multiple regression analyses were conducted to examine the data. The results indicated the following: (1) positive relationships among PTG, ER, and LS; (2) Korean college students who experienced PTG were more likely to experience LS; and (3) ER partially mediated the association between PTG and LS, and the effect was statistically significant. A discussion was conducted based on the results.
