음악치료에 대한 일반인들의 인식도, 이해도 및 기대도 관련 조사연구

이 연구는 음악치료를 발전시키고 또한 음악치료의 새로운 대상영역을 창조하고 확대하기 위해 음악치료에 대한 일반인들의 인식도, 이해도 및 기대도를 알아보고자 한 것이었다. 표본은 전국 20대 이상 성인 4745명을 대상으로 하였으며 전국을 도별로 군집으로 나누고 하위단계별로 나누어 그 안에서 연구자 편의에 따라 표집한 편의표집방법을 사용하였다. 연구방법은 질문지를 통한 조사연구방법을 적용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 음악치료를 알고 있는 비율은 58.4%(2722명)였다. 둘째, 음악치료에 대한 인식도에 따라 음악치료의 이해도를 교차 분석한 결과 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 음악치료의 효과, 음악치료의 전문성에 대한 시각, 교육과 치료의 관점, 음악치료의 다양한 활동에 대한 이해에 있어서 음악치료를 알고 있는 그룹과 그렇지 않은 그룹 사이에는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 음악치료의 기대도를 분석한 결과, 대중성, 영역의 확대, 다양성 등에 대한 기대를 보여주고 있었다. 본 연구는 일반인들에게 전문적 영역으로서 음악치료를 더욱 정확하게 알리고 음악을 통해 신체적, 정서적 건강과 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위한 대중적인 음악치료 프로그램에 대한 필요를 알려주었다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to improve music therapy and expand application of music therapy by investigating people's recognition, comprehension, and expectation of music therapy. survey, based on total 4745 people whose ages are over 20 years old and grouping subjects by each province, is conducted for the research. The results of the research are as follows. First, the total percentage of people who has recognition of music therapy is 58.4% (n=2722). Second, after conducting cross analysis between recognition and understanding or effectiveness of music therapy, meaningful relationship is found. Finally, expectation is analyzed and the result is that people are expected for popularity, expansion of area, variety.
