The purpose of this study is to gain an understanding of the Korean public on how they perceive this type of arena space as public grounds. The general publics in Korea gain a certain type of satisfaction through visiting a mall and being a part of a consumer. The Q methodology can be applied to this type of scenario viewing the public as “malling” consumers. After analyzing the “the malling,” four distinct factors can be found. The first factor, “the Sweet Space”e identifies the multiplex shopping mall as a place to spend time with no obligation such as the “Third Space.” The second factor, “the Culture Space” recognizes the cultural experience the consumers can obtain while shopping. The third factor, “the Convenient Space” compartmentalizes the required necessities for the consumers in one space for an easy access within the vicinity. And lastly the fourth factor, “the Surfing Space” delivers an adventurous and mysterious journey for the curious minds. This can be a plus to the “malling” consumers where they can discover and uncover grounds that are new.
