2011 개정 국어과 교육과정에서 ‘태도’ 범주의 문제점 고찰 －쓰기 영역을 중심으로－

본고는 ‘2011 국어과 교육과정’의 쓰기 영역을 중심으로 ‘태도’가 반영된 양상에서의 문제점을 살펴보고, 이를 개선하기 위한 바람직한 구현 방향을 제시하였다. 그 결과 현행 국어과 교육과정에서 ‘태도’는 내용 체계에서 독립된 범주로 설정이 되었음에도 불구하고, ‘태도’가 성취 기준이나 교수․학습 수준에서 적극적으로 반영되지 못하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 ‘태도’의 복합적인 성격으로 인하여 ‘태도’를 이루는 하위 내용 요소들이 내용 체계에서 범주화 되는 방식에서도 문제가 있었다. 그 해결 방안으로 쓰기 영역을 예로 들면, 인지적 성격이 강한 ‘쓰기의 윤리’나 ‘쓰기의 가치와 중요성’의 일부는 ‘지식’범주로 묶고, 정서 및 행동적 성격이 강한 ‘쓰기 흥미’, ‘쓰기 동기’, ‘쓰기의 생활화’는 ‘기능’ 및 ‘지식’ 범주와는 다른 층위로 제시하는 방식을 제안한다. 또한 학생들의 국어와 관련한 태도가 신장될 수 있는 환경이나 조건을 체계화하고, 교육 과정에서 ‘태도’ 범주를 좀 더 적극적으로 해석하여 성취 기준, 교수․학습, 평가 등에서 다양하게 반영하는 방안을 제안하였다. ‘태도’는 국어 교육에서 새로운 교육 내용과 성취 기준을 마련하는 데에 활용될 수 있고, 나아가 다른 성취기준의 적합성을 판단하고. 교수․학습 방안을 제시하는 데에도 적극적으로 기능할 수 있다.
Abstract
This paper examines the problem of ‘Attitude’ in the ‘2011 Revisional Curriculum in Korean Language Education’ and provide an alternative framework for them. The conclusion which can be drawn from this study of ‘Attitude’ are these：1) ‘Attitude’ is established as an independent content category in ‘2011 Revisional Curriculum in Korean Language Education’, but the conceptual-layer of ‘Attitude’ is not same from the other content categories, ‘knowledge’ or ‘skill’. 2) ‘Attitude’ is not apply to achievement standard or teaching-learning method. Proceeding from these facts, I convinced that ‘Writing ethics’ and ‘The value and importance of writing’ are categorize in ‘knowledge’ but ‘writing interest’, ‘writing motivation’, and ‘making a writing a way of life’ are categorize in separate way. And I address the alternative way to extend ‘Attitude’ in Curriculum in Korean Language Education. ‘Attitude’ is be used in various ways in Korean education for achievement standard or teaching-learning method.
