이 연구의 목적은 외국인 학습자들이 한국어로 글을 쓸 때 보이는 눈동자 움직임의 특성을 파악하여 한국어 쓰기 교육에 기여할 수 있는 함의를 찾는 것이다. 이를 위해 두 가지 유형의 쓰기 문항이 참여자들에게 제공되었고, 이들이 작성한 글에 대한 채점 결과를 토대로 눈동자 움직임 데이터를 집단으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 이러한 절차를 통해 쓰기 과제의 성격에 따라, 그리고 높은 점수를 받는 집단과 그렇지 않은 집단 사이에 눈동자 움직임의 특성이 달라진다는 점을 기본적으로 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 이를 토대로 쓰기 과정 이론 및 쓰기 교육 이론의 중요한 함의점들이 외국인 학습자들의 한국어 쓰기에서도 공통적으로 중시되어야 한다는 점을 확인하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out the implications of contributing to Korean writing education by understanding the characteristics of pupil movements when foreign learners write in Korean. To this end, two types of writing items were provided to the participants, and the pupil movement data were classified into groups based on the scoring results of the writings. This procedure basically confirmed that the characteristics of the pupil movements differed according to the nature of the writing task and between those with high scores and those without. Based on this, the main implications of the writing process theory and writing education theory should be emphasized in common in the Korean writing of foreign learners.
