아동기 학대 경험 청소년의 스트레스와 심리적 적응: 대처방식의 매개효과를 중심으로

본 연구는 아동기 학대 경험 청소년의 일상생활 스트레스와 심리적 적응과의 관계에서 대처방식은 어떠한 경로로 영향을 미치는가를 밝혀보고, 이러한 매개경로의 간접효과 유의미성을 Sobel test를 통해 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대구지역의 중･고등학교에 재학중인 1,021명의 청소년들 중 학대 경험 청소년 696명을 대상으로 수행한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자아존중감 모형의 결과 학대 경험 청소년이 스트레스가 높을수록 문제중심적 대처를 선택할 가능성은 낮아지고, 문제중심적 대처를 할 경우에는 자아존중감이 높아지는 것으로 나타났고, 스트레스가 높을수록 정서중심적 대처를 선택할 가능성은 높아지고, 정서중심적 대처를 할 경우에는 자아존중감이 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 우울･불안 모형의 결과 스트레스가 높을수록 정서중심적 대처를 선택할 가능성은 높아지고, 정서중심적 대처를 선택한 청소년의 우울･불안은 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, Sobel test의 결과 스트레스가 문제중심적 대처방식을 거쳐 자아존중감으로 가는 간접효과는 유의미한 것으로 나타났고, 스트레스가 정서중심적 대처방식을 거쳐 우울･불안으로 가는 간접효과도 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study was to delve what path the ways of coping strategies affected in the relationship of daily stress to psychological adjustment of adolescence Experienced abuse in Childhood, and to examine the significance of the indirect effect of the mediation path by utilizing Sobel test. The sample consisted 696 adolescence Experienced abuse among 1,021 middle and high school student in Daegu. The findings are as following. First, according to the self-esteem model, the non-abused students were less likely to choose a problem-centered coping when they were under heavier stress, and they had a better self-esteem when they performed a problem-centered coping. They were more likely to choose an emotion- centered coping when they were under heavier stress, and they had a lower self-esteem when they performed an emotion-centered coping. According to the depression/anxiety model, heavier stress was more likely to lead to a choice of an emotion-centered coping, and the adolescents who chose an emotion-centered coping suffered more depression and anxiety. Second, according to the results of Sobel test, the indirect effect that stress had on self-esteem through a problemcentered coping pattern was significant, and the indirect effect that stress had on depression/anxiety through an emotion-centered coping pattern was statistically significant as well.
