간호대학생의 ADHD 성향과 수면의 질이 대학적응에 미치는 예측요인

본 연구는 간호대학생의 ADHD 성향, 수면의 질, 대학적응 간의 관계를 파악하고 대학적응의 영향요인을 확인하고자 수행되었다. 간호대학생 152명을 대상으로 자가보고식 설문을 실시하였으며, SPSS WIN 25.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 대학적응은 평균 3.31±0.64이었으며 ADHD 성향(r=-.518, p<.001), 수면의 질(r=-.260, p<.001)과 음(-)의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 다중회귀분석 결과, 대학적응의 주요 영향요인은 ADHD 성향(β= -.443, p<.001), 학업수준(β=.312, p<.001), 경제상태(β=.142, p=.032) 순이었으며 설명력은 40.0%이었다. 수면의 질은 대학적응의 직접적 영향요인은 아니었으나, ADHD 성향과 유의하게 관련되어 있어 대학생활에서 경험하는 집중력·정서조절·피로 누적과 같은 간접적 어려움을 심화시킬 가능성이 있다. 따라서 간호대학생의 대학적응 향상을 위해서는 ADHD 성향을 고려한 심리·학업 지원과 더불어 수면의 질을 개선할 수 있는 생활습관 교육과 환경적 지원이 병행될 필요가 있다.
Abstract
This study aimed to examine the relationships among ADHD symptoms, sleep quality, and college adjustment in nursing students, and to identify factors influencing college adjustment. Self-administered questionnaires were completed by 152 nursing students, and data were analyzed using SPSS WIN 25.0 with descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The mean score of college adjustment was 3.31±0.64, and it showed negative correlations with ADHD symptoms (r=-.518, p<.001) and sleep quality (r=-.260, p<.001). Multiple regression analysis revealed that the major predictors of college adjustment were ADHD symptoms (β=-.443, p<.001), academic level (β=.312, p<.001), and economic status (β= .142, p=.032), explaining 40.0% of the variance. Although sleep quality was not a direct predictor of college adjustment, it was significantly associated with ADHD symptoms, suggesting that difficulties related to attention, emotional regulation, and accumulated fatigue may indirectly affect college life. These findings highlight the need for psychological and academic support tailored to ADHD-related characteristics, along with educational and environmental strategies to improve sleep quality, to enhance college adjustment among nursing students.
