노동력 가치는 노동력의 재생산을 위해 직간접적으로 필요한 노동의 양에 의해 결정되는 것이 아니라 노동자의 생활비에 의해서 결정된다. 이는 두 가지 점에서 즉, 노동력의 재생산을 위해 지불되는 직접노동이 무시되고 간접노동도 노동자의 생활비로 지불된 것이 아니면 전부 무시된다는 점에서 일반적인 상품가치이론과 달라 보인다. 이 글은 상품으로서의 노동력의 특질을 중심으로 그 이유를 규명한 후, 이것이 마르크스 가치이론의 이론적 정합성도 해치는 것이 아님을 밝히고자 한다. 노동력의 상품으로서의 특질이 노동력의 재생산을 위해 지출되는 직접노동을 노동력가치의 결정에 관여하는 노동으로부터 제외시키고, 노동력의 유지-보관에 관련된 노동 가운데에서도 노동자의 생활수단의 가치로 표현되는 금전적 비용의 노동만이 노동력가치의 결정에 관여하는 생산적 노동임을 밝힌다.
Abstract
The value of labor-power is said not to be determined by the amount of labor directly and indirectly necessary for the reproduction of the labor-power but by the amount of monetary subsistence cost. This theory looks different from Marx's original value theory as it disregards two labors: the direct labors for the reproduction of labor-power and the indirect labors not directly linked with mercenary costs of the worker's subsistence. This paper examines why Marx's theory of the value of labor-power in no way disaccord with his ordinary value theory of labor by highlighting specific characters of the labor-power. Its specific characters preclude both the direct and indirect labors unless directly linked with monetary cost of the subsistence from the labors that determine the value of labor-power.
