한국경제 이윤율 동학 분석: 구조적 벡터자기회귀모형을 중심으로

본 연구는 2001-2017년 한국경제의 분기별 이윤율 변동을 분석한다. 특히이윤율에 관한 기존의 실증연구에 따라 이윤율을 자본생산성과 임금분배율로 분해한 후, 이에 대한 역사적 분해를 시도한다. 이때, 데이터 기반 식별방식을 통한 구조적 벡터자기회귀모형을 활용한다. 데이터 기반 식별방식을통한 구조적 벡터자기회귀모형은 기존 전통적 방식의 장기적 제약식, 재귀적 제약식 등을 통한 구조적 자기회귀분석과는 달리, 선험적인 이론적 모형을 가정하지 않는 다는 점에서, 이론모형을 수반할 필요가 없다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 또한 구조적 단절 검정을 통해 이윤율의 변동에 있어서 2009년 1 분기 구조적 단절이 있음을 확인하였다. 이에 따르면, 이윤율의 변동은 2009 년 1분기를 전후로 자본생산성과 임금분배율이 미치는 영향의 양상이 변화한다. 이는 2009년 1분기 이후로 이윤율의 변동이 임금분배율 중심의 새로운 국면으로 접어들었음을 시사한다.
Abstract
This study analyzes quarterly profit rate of Korean economy in 2001-2017. Especially, according to the previous empirical studies, profit rate is decomposed into capital productivity and wage distribution, and then historical decomposition is attempted. In this case, I exploit structural vector autoregressive model through data-driven identification. Data-driven identification approach has merits which does not have a priori economic theory-base, unlike traditional SVAR identification such as long-run restriction, recursive restriction approaches. In addition, this paper turns out a structural break in Q1/2009. According to this result, the effect on fluctuation of profit rate is changed. It provides some implications on the change in profit rate has entered a new phase centered on wage share ratio.
