지상파 방송뉴스 리포트의 공식적 정보원에 관한 연구 : 전라북도 지상파 방송국을 중심으로

본 연구는 방송뉴스에서 인터뷰로 노출되는 공식적 정보원의 역할에 대해 내용분석을 통해 탐색하였다. 이를 알아보기 위해 논조와 방식, 내용 등 사운드 바이트를 주요하게 분석하였고, 더불어 기사논조, 정보원 공개도 주요 변인으로 설정하였다. 연구결과 기사논조와 사운드 바이트 논조는 정적 상관관계를 지닌다. 공식적 정보원들은 긍정적 기사 노출을 선호하는 반면, 부정적 기사 노출을 꺼려한다. 특히 공무원은 직위에 따른 긍․부정 기사 노출 경향이 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 공식적 정보원의 신분적 역할은 리포트에서도 반영되고 있다. 구체적으로 행정을 감시하는 정치인은 비판, 주요 정책의 실행자인 공무원은 정보전달, 깊이 있는 지식을 보유한 전문가는 특정 지식전달의 역할을 주로 수행한다. 마지막으로 공식적 정보원에 의해 기획된 의사사건에서 기자는 객관성을 확보하려 하지만 정보원은 기획의도를 충실하게 실현한다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the role of official sources exposed through interviews in local televisions’ main news at Jeonju with content analysis. To analyze this, we analyzed the sound bytes such as tone, method, and contents. And set articles tone and disclosure of sources as major variables. The study found that the article and the sound byte tone have a static correlation. So official sources prefer positive article exposure, while they are reluctant to expose negative articles. In particular, public officials showed a tendency to expose positive and negative articles according to their positions. The identity role of official sources are also reflected in the report. Specifically, politicians play a role of criticism, public officials deliver information, and experts play a role of specific knowledge transfer. Finally, in pseudo-event designed by an official sources, the journalist tries to secure objectivity, but the sources faithfully realizes the planning intention.
