Rasch 모형을 이용한 골프멘탈척도의 타당화

초록

본 연구의 목적은 골프 경기에서 선수들이 실제로 경험하는 골프멘탈요인별 구체적인 인지, 감정, 행동 반응을 심층적으로 측정 평가하는 “골프멘탈척도(Golf Mental Scale)”를 개발하는 것이다. 이런 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 문헌 고찰과 남자 국가대표 골프선수 8명과의 면담을 통해 골프멘탈 문항 기초 자료를 수집하고이에 대한 연역적 및 귀납적 내용분석을 실시하여 요인별 문항을 추출 및 취합하였으며, 남자 국가대표 골프선수와 프로골퍼 및 우수골프선수 253명을 대상으로 한 1, 2차 조사에서 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0, Winsteps Ver. 3.65프로그램, AMOS 18을 이용하여 Rasch 모형 및 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 이와같은 연구 과정을 거쳐 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 골프선수들의 심리 요인구조는 집중력, 자신감, 불안 및 각성조절, 감정조절, 생각조절의 5요인으로 나타났고, 전체 문항은 37문항으로 확정하였다. 둘째, 골프멘탈척도는 5점 척도가 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 확인적 요인분석으로 구인타당도 검증을 한 결과 골프멘탈척도 모델은 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 골프멘탈척도의 신뢰도는 Cronbach’값 .936으로 우수하게 나타났다. 다섯째, 골프멘탈척도 구성요인의 수렴타당도와 판별타당도에 대한 내적일관성이 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 골프멘탈척도는 상황-특수적인 각 문항에 대한 피험자의 반응을 구체적으로 확인할 수 있을 뿐아니라, 피험자의 요인별 골프멘탈능력을 문항의 난이도 및 피험자 특성을 고려하여 평가할 수 있는 실용성과객관성을 갖춘 척도로 실용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다

Abstract

The purpose of present study is to develop the ‘Golf Mental Scale’ that measures and assesses golf players' cognitive, emotional, behavioral response per golf mental factor experienced while competing in depth. In order to achieve this research purpose, Researcher collected raw data of golf mental question through literature review and interview with 8 members of Korean male national golf team and gathered questions per factor through Deductive-Inductive Content Analysis for the raw data. Then, Researcher conducted first and second questionnaire survey targeting 253 of elite & pro golf players and conducted Rasch Model and Confirmatory Factor Analysis for the data collected using SPSS 21.0, Winsteps Ver. 3.65 Program, AMOS 18. The conclusion reasoned out through these research process was as follows: First, golf players' psychological factor structure identified was revealed as Concentration, Self-confidence, Anxiety and Arousal control, Emotion control, Thought control. Total 37 questions were determined. Second, 5 point scale was revealed to be a good fit for Golf Mental Scale. Third, the result of Construct Validity Verification of CFA showed that Golf Mental Scale model was a good fit. Fourth, Reliability of Golf Mental Scale showed high level by recording Cronbach’ value .936. Fifth, Internal Consistency of Convergent Validity and Discriminant Validity was revealed to be satisfied. Eventually, Golf Mental Scale is expected to be used practically as a functional test tool that provides participant's response toward each situation-specific questions concretely and an objective evaluation of participant's golf mental ability per factor considering questions’ level of difficulty and participants’ characteristic.
