아동의 스포츠 활동에 대한 태도와 주관적 규범이 향후 지속적 스포츠 참여의도에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 아동기의 스포츠 참여에 대한 경험이 향후 지속적 스포츠 참여의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 Fishbein & Ajen의 합리적 행위이론(Theory of Reasoned Action)을 바탕으로 아동들의 향후 성인기 스포츠 참여의도를 파악하기 위해 아동들의 스포츠 활동에 대한 태도와 주관적 규범을 측정하였다. 초등학교 고학년(4~6학년)을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 총 531명(남: 314, 여: 209)의 응답자가 본 연구에 참가하였다. 구조방정식을 이용한 가설검증 결과 스포츠 활동에 대한 태도와 참여의도와의 관계에서 아동들의 스포츠 활동에 대한 기대신념과 평가로 이루어진 태도와 규범적 신념과 순응동기에 의해 이루어진 주관적 규범은 모두 성인기의 지속적 스포츠 참여의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 스포츠 활동을 경험한 아동들의 성인기 스포츠 참여의도와 참여행동에 영향을 줄 수 있는 선행요인들을 파악하고 요인들 간의 영향력을 규명하여 미래 스포츠 소비자가 될 아동들의 의식을 알아보고 스포츠 활동에 대한 긍정적인 태도가 의도로 이어지는데 도움이 될 수 있는 기초자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the impact of children's sport experience on their future intention of sport participation. Based on 'Theory of Reasoned Action' of Fishbein and Ajen, a key theory of socio-psychology, 'attitude toward behavior' and 'subjective norms', were designated as the underlying impacts to shed light on its relations to children's future intentions. In this paper, children are studied as potential consumers of sport in the future. The sport experience they have during socialization process is originality of those children and also because it will play an integral part in studying their behavior as potential consumers during socialization and predicting their behavior in sport participation. To this goal, sport experienced 314 boys and 209 girls in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade were selected by convenience sampling to answer the questions. Results analyzed using structural equation modeling showed the attitude toward sport participation had significant impacts on future intentions to participate in sport. In addition, subjective norms that were formed through children's sport experience had positive impacts on children's intention to participate in sport in the future.
