Abstract
The perennial question about whether physical education can contribute to moral education has been the subject of continuous debate. As yet, however, there seems to be little conclusive evidence one way or another. Thus, this study attempts to find the necessary evidence that there is a logical connection between engagement in sport or physical education and moral education. Most of the existing work regarding sport's relation to moral education is based largely on the examination of internal or external values of sport to argue that physical education is inherently concerned with moral values and can contribute to the development of moral character. However, this study attempts to approach the issue in a little different way. With a focus on analysis of moral education, this study attempts to show how closely and logically participation in physical education class is related to moral education.
