전 세계적인 현상인 초 고령화시대로 인해 각 세대 간의 소통과 교류가 부족해지고 있으며, 이로 인해 서로 간의 문화와 인식차이가 두드러져 갈등이 증폭되고 있다, 본 연구는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 평생교육기관인 박물관에서 세대 간의 교류의 장을 제공함으로써, 세대 공동체로서 서로를 이해하며 소통하고자 한다. 그중에서도 직계가족 내의 소통에 집중했으며, 핵가족화로 인해 소통이 가장 부족한 조부모와 손자녀의 소통을 통해 갈등을 불식시키는 데에 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 국내 박물 관에서의 세대 통합교육프로그램 및 관련 선행연구, 문헌자료 분석을 토대로 조부모- 손자녀 세대 간의 통합교육프로그램을 개발하였으며, 프로그램은 교육 목적 및 목표, 교육내용, 교수학습방법 및 평가로 구성하었다. 2주간 주 1회 2차시로 서울공예박물관에서 운영하고자 한다. 결론적으로 본 연구에서 개발한 조부모 -손자녀 간의 세대통합교육 프로그램은 세대 간의 협동학습을 통해서 세대 상호 간존재하는 오해와 편견 감소, 다양한 문화와 가치관을 가진 사람들 간의 상호작용, 세대 공동체의 가치나 관점에 대한 이해가 확대할 것으로 바라보며, 이는 오늘날의 가족 형태가 갖는 문제점을 보완해 주는 역할을 할 것으로 바라보고 있다. 또한, 세대 간 소통과 유대감을 강화할 수 있는 세대소통 프로그램 개발안을 제시해 박물관의 세대소통프로그램이 나아가야할 방향을 모색하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대해 본다.
Abstract
This study addresses the growing concern of diminished communication and interaction between different generations, exacerbated by the global aging population trend. The resulting lack of intergenerational exchange has given rise to heightened cultural and perceptual disparities, leading to increased conflicts. In response, this research proposes the creation of a platform for intergenerational communication within lifelong educational institutions, specifically museums. The primary focus is to enhance communication within immediate families, with a particular emphasis on bridging the communication gap between grandparents and grandchildren, which often strains due to the prevalence of nuclear families. To achieve this objective, the study has developed an intergenerational education program by analyzing prior research, literature, and existing programs in domestic museums. This program is structured with clear educational objectives, content, teaching methodologies, and assessment criteria. The program is designed to be conducted once a week, with each session lasting two hours, and will be implemented at the Seoul Museum of Craft Art over a two-week period. In summary, the intergenerational education program for grandparents and grandchildren, as developed in this study, is expected to mitigate misunderstandings and biases among different generations through cooperative learning. It aspires to facilitate interactions among individuals with diverse cultures and values, ultimately fostering a deeper understanding of the values and perspectives within intergenerational communities. This program holds the potential to address some of the challenges associated with the modern family structure. Moreover, it offers an alternative program model to enhance intergenerational communication and foster a sense of community, highlighting its practical feasibility for implementation.
