영화 <그녀 Her>를 활용한 글쓰기 교육모형 연구

Abstract

This article provides writing education model by utilizing Her. The forms of writing can be academic writing and self-reflective writing, and the education model of each form of writing can be classified into two aspects, contents and formality. The aspect of contents is based on issues that are raised by the future of society with high technology and by self-reflective narratives of the film itself. First, there are three broad subjects for academic writing: the identity of a man and a cyborg(artificial intelligence), the change in the meaning and form of love, and the solidifying of traditional female gender. Next, self-reflective writing comprises the theme of egocentric love of a protagonist and the form of letters presented in the film. The aspect of formality in writing education signifies the curriculum level, and both forms comprise similar methods: (1) of understanding the movie based on answering an instructor’s questions; (2) of writing a summary and a comment(academic writing) and writing a summary(self-reflective writing); (3) of contemplating the major theme of the movie; and (4) of implementing writing. Though two forms of writing have different educational objectives, it is expected that these methods will make progress effectively through gradual implementation. Above all, utilizing the contents of this film that is complexly unfolding changeable values in the future science and technology era will contribute to nourishing students’ writing proficiency and their critical, creative, reflective way of thinking.
