<인문학 글쓰기> 교과목에서의 학제성 제고 방안－가톨릭대 사례를 중심으로－

새로운 교양교육의 방향은 변화하는 시대적 요구에 부응하고 전공 학문 수행능력을 함양하기 위한 능력교육을 지향하는 것이며 의사소통능력과 사고능력 함양을 위한 교양교육의 필요성이 증대되었다. 이러한 능력교육의 실천은 학제성의기반 위에서 요구되었다. 그런데 대학 교양교과목으로서 기초 글쓰기 강좌로는 범학문적인 내용의 다양성과 관점의 통합성을 지향하는 학제성이라는 목표를 이루어 내기에 어려움이 있다. 따라서 교양 교육 내에서 학제성을 추구하는 방향으로서 가능하고 유용해 보이는방법은 기초 글쓰기보다 좀 더 높은 단계의 글쓰기 교과목에서 학제성을 반영하여운영하는 것이며 이에 적합한 교과목이 <인문학 글쓰기> 교과목이라 할 수 있다. 이런 관점에서 가톨릭대에서 운영하고 있는 <인문학 글쓰기> 운영 사례를 소개하고 이를 비판적으로 검토해 보아 문제되는 요소를 드러내어 반성해 보고 그런중에 이 교과목에서 학제성을 제고할 수 있을 가능성을 찾아보고자 하였다. 이에따라 <인문학 글쓰기> 교과목에서의 학제성을 제고하기 위한 방안은 다음과 같이3가지로 제시되었다. 첫째, 주제 설정에서의 학제성이 이루어져야 한다. 둘째,교육방법에서 학제성이 반영되어야 한다. 셋째, 교과목 및 교육과정 개발과 연구에서의 학제성이 고려되어야 한다.
Abstract
The new flow of General education in university has been requiredbased on Interdisciplinarity. However in expository writing educationof General Education it is difficult to achieve goals of interdisciplinarity. Therefore to seek direction for improving interdisciplinary nature inGeneraleEducation, available and possible way is operated to reflectInterdisciplinarity in more advanced-level writing course. In this regard, operating practices “Humanities Writing<인문학 글쓰기>” witch is operating in Catholic university was introduced andwas critically examined. Through we try to search ourselves for ourfaults and try to find fresh possibilities to improve interdisciplinarity. Accordingly for improving interdisciplinary nature in “HumanitiesWriting<인문학 글쓰기>”, it is provided as follows. To pursueInterdisciplinarity in “Humanities Writing<인문학 글쓰기>”, it isneeded to set interdisciplinary topics, to reflect interdisciplinarity inteaching method, and to consider interdisciplinarity in educationprogram and its development.
