As 'Islamic Revivalism' was originated in Iran, Iran Islam revolution occurred and there was the tremendous cultural shock caused by the hostage case toward the US Embassy in Teheran. Nevertheless, the US regarded 'Islamic Revivalism' as less important issue because of the policy restraining the USSR. After the collapse of system of cold war, the US took the Middle East policy based on the concepts of main enemy and axis of evil.
