This paper is to study the Middle East policy & Korea-US Alliance policy in the US foreign policy. It certainly analyzes the policies of Middle East & North Korea in Bush's Administration, and examines problems of the Korea-US Alliance and the recognition on Korea & US relationship. In this sense, this paper is to focus on the link between the Middle East policy and the crisis situation of the Korea-US Alliance in Roh Moo Hyun’s Administration. Also, It criticizes the Middle East policy of Bush's Administration that adopts a conservative and biased policies, and discusses dilemmas of the US’s Middle East policy.Korea has fallen into step with the United States in various issues such as dispatch of forces to Afghanistan and Republic of Iraq, Korea-US FTA agreements, Korea-US beef agreement etc, and has mostly accommodated the demands of the United States. Mainstream scholars in the United States have manifested the strong and steady Korea-America alliance, while the conservative forces that possess vested rights in Korea have continually expressed the crisis situation of the Korea-US alliance. In this sense, this paper also researches the reason why different opinions have been formed in two countries.
