Abstract

This study analyzed drama literature material of elementary languages textbooks; “Elementary Korean Exercises”, “Elementary Korean”, “Korean”, published in Syllabus Period(1945. 9~1954. 4). In this paper, dramaliterature related material were divided into three categories as follows. 1) The dramatic literature of using the dialog play and full-fledged drama, 2) The picture theater Japanese occupation picture theater, and section and the Japanese occupation picture theater, 3) The features of drama-related material. In addition, examined the prob- lems of learning-related material. The essential elements of drama are the ‘dialogue’ and ‘instructions', however, the drama using the dialogic didn’t have complete format, but the full-fledged drama is poised format. Learning problems are as follows. Understand the plot, identify the nature of the figures, and the identify of genres, performances play and induce adaptation. Especially Learning ac- tivities was languages ​​of education ‘speaking' education. Picture theater in Syllabus Period and the picture theater in Japanese Occupation correlated with each other.' Conversational style to put the center of the scene in each case with a number and insert a picture section a little more vividly presented. ‘picture theater' is estimated to be on the impact of the Japanese occupation of the picture theater line. Learning problems, mainly decorating the talking picture theater activities, and is associated with speaking education. Finally, the section associated with the drama was examined. the phenomenon is repeated drama adaptation of the following textbooks or textbooks and material of the previous juvenile drama.
