장애 학생의 일반교육과정 참여를 위한 통합학급 교사의 수행 능력

이 연구는 통합교육 환경 내에서 장애 학생의 일반교육과정 참여를 제고하기 위해 특수교육의 대표적 교육과정 유형과 교육과정 운영 방식에 대해 논의함으로써 효율적인 교육과정 운영을 위해 통합학급 교사가 갖추어야 할 수행 능력을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 특수교육의 전통적인 교육과정 접근 3가지의 장단점을 중심으로 논의하고, 통합학급에 적용될 수 있는 교육과정 운영 방식 3가지를 검토한 후, 이를 토대로 통합학급 교사들이 갖추어야 할 수행 능력 5가지를 제시하였다. 통합학급 교사가 장애 학생의 일반교육과정 참여를 위해 갖추어야 할 수행 능력으로는 첫째, 수업 목표의 풍부화 및 다양화, 둘째, 명시적 수업 내용에 대한 이해의 전환, 셋째, 수업 목표와 내용의 과제 분석 능력, 넷째, 통합학급 수업 목표와 IEP 목표의 연계성 확립, 다섯째, 통합학급 교사와 특수학급 교사의 협력 수행 능력 등이 있다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to suggest the competency of regular class teachers to manage curriculum in the inclusive classes. To suggest these competency, I discussed the traditional approaches of special education curriculum, and then reviewed the mode of curriculum management in the inclusive classes. The competency of regular class teachers for curriculum management in the inclusive classes included the competency (a) to enrich and diversify the instructional objectives, (b) to use the implicit contents related to instruction, (c) to analyze the task of instructional objectives and contents, (d) to link the instructional objectives with instructional contents, and (e) to collaborate on a work with special education teachers.
