발달지체 및 장애위험유아들의 학습준비도에 관한 중재연구 고찰

본 연구에서는 발달지체 및 장애위험유아를 대상으로 한 국내 기초학습 중재연구의 특성과 동향을 알아보고 기초학습능력 향상에 효과적인 것으로 보고된 중재들의 특성과 교수·학습 요소를 분석하였다. 연구목적에 부합하는 선행연구 포함/제외 근거에 따라 총 13편의 국내 학술논문이 그 분석대상으로 선정되었으며, 연구대상, 중재환경, 중재 회기 빈도, 중재자, 연구 설계, 종속변인, 중재 요소 등의 기준으로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 4-6세 유아를 대상으로 한 논문이 다수를 차지하였으며, 대다수의 중재가 교사에 의해 유아가 재학 중인 유치원 또는 어린이집에서 이루어졌다. 중재 회기 빈도는 대체로 다양한 양상을 보였으며 15회기 이상 회기로 이루어진 연구들이 다수를 차지하였다. 연구 설계는 주로 단일대상연구가 사용되었고 대부분의 중재가 읽기능력을 종속변인으로 설정하였다. 중재 제공에서 언어적 촉진과 연습의 기회는 다수의 연구에서 실시된 것으로 보고된 반면, 강화, 교사의 시범, 놀이 관련 활동 등은 비교적 낮은 비율로 나타났다. 문헌분석 결과를 바탕으로 발달지체 및 장애위험유아를 위한 기초학습능력 중재연구 및 실제에 대해 논의․제언한다.

Abstract

The purpose of the review is to analyze the recent research designed to improve academic school readiness of young children with developmental delays and those at risk for disabilities. A total of 13 studies were analyzed based on participants, settings, number of sessions, interventionist, research design, dependent variable, and instructional components. The results indicated as follows: First, most of subjects were 4-6 year-old young children, and most interventions were implemented in kindergarten and day-care center. The number of sessions was varied; the majority of studies included more than 15 sessions. Single-case design was widely used and most studies examined reading skills as a dependent variable. Verbal prompting and opportunities to practice were included in majority of the studies reviewed; however, few studies included reinforcements, modeling, and play-related activities. Implications and recommendations based on the results were provided.
