초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 국내 특수교육에서의 SGD 사용 AAC 중재 단일대상 실험연구를 개선율 차이 기법으로 메타분석하고 그 중재 효과성을 제시하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 국내 특수교육연구에서 SGD 사용 AAC 중재 단일대상 실험문헌을 조사하여 21편의 분석대상 논문을 선정하였고 분석변인을 검토하였다. 그리고 최근 단일대상연구의 효과크기 계산에 사용되는 개선율 차이 기법을 사용하여 분석변인에 따라 중재효과를 분석하였다. 연구결과: 주요 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국내 SGD 사용 AAC 중재는 장애영역, 학교 과정에 따른 효과크기 분석에서 매우 높은 효과를 나타내었다. 둘째, 국내 SGD 사용 AAC 중재는 SGD의 도구 구성 유형, 음성출력 유형에 따른 효과크기 분석에서 매우 높은 효과를 나타내었다. 셋째, 국내 SGD 사용 AAC 중재는 지금까지 의사소통 기능, 상호작용, 문해력에 대해 수행되었고 이들 종속변인에 대해 SGD 사용 AAC 중재는 매우 높은 효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 이런 분석결과를 바탕으로 AAC 중재에서 고려해야 할 사항을 제언하였다.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to conduct a meta-analysis on the Korean empirical research articles related to communication interventions involving speech-generating devices(SGD). Method: 21 empirical articles for communication interventions involving SGD were selected and analyzed with characteristics of participants, the types of SGD, and dependent variables.. The improvement rate difference method was employed to calculate the effect sizes of the AAC interventions. Results: The results of this research were as follows. First, the AAC interventions involving SGD generally showed significant effects on students with cerebral palsies or with intellectual disabilities or autistic spectrum disorders, regardless of school levels and regardless of the types of SGD configuration and the types of speech output. Second, the AAC interventions involving SGD showed significant effects on the dependent variables, such as the communicative function, communicative interaction, and literacy skills. Conclusion: Based on these results, considerations for AAC interventions were suggested.
