학교사회복지 사례관리 교육의 현황과 방향 -대학 학부 교육을 중심으로-

본 연구는 현재 우리나라 대학의 학부 수준에서 학교사회복지 사례관리를 어떻게 교육시키고 있는지 그 현황을 살펴보고, 추후 학교사회복지 사례관리 교육이 어떤 내용과 방법으로 진행되어야 할지에 대한 방향성을 설정하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 4년제 대학에서의 학교사회복지 및 사례관리 교과목 개설 현황을 한국교육협의회 회원교를 중심으로 살펴보았고, 최근 3년 동안 4년제 대학에서 학교사회복지 교과목을 가르친 전임교수와 강사를 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 또한 학교사회복지 사례관리 교육에 대한 현황과 문제점, 방향에 대해 보다 상세한 의견을 수합하고자 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 병행하였다. 연구결과, 대학 정규교육과정 내 학교사회복지 교과목은 조사 대상 중 약 71%, 사례관리 교과목은 약 48%의 대학이 개설하고 있었으며 학교사회복지 교과목 내에서 사례관리 내용을 약 80%의 대학이 다루고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 대학 학교사회복지 사례관리 교육 운영의 어려움으로는 사례관리를 가르칠 시간부족, 수업 시 활용할 구체적인 적용 사례 부족, 학교현장의 특수성에 대한 충분한 이해 부족, 사례관리 교과목 이수 여부에 따른 학생들의 이해도 편차, 관련 교재와 자료 부족 및 교육자의 현장경험 부족 등인 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 교육자가 인식하는 바람직한 대학 학교사회복지 사례관리 교육 내용과 방법 및 발전방안, 사례관리 교육을 위한 학회와 협회의 역할에 대해 제안 하였으며 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 대학에서의 학교사회복지 사례관리 교육의 방향성과 발전방안을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to review the current status of school social work case management at the undergraduate level of universities in the country and is aimed at setting a direction that school social work case management education should be carried out in the future. To achieve this purpose, we examined school social welfare and case management education course opened trackings at four-year colleges focusing on the Korea institute for school council members and we had interviews with the professors and instructors who taught in school social work courses at four-year colleges and universities for last 3 years. In addition, we had focus group interviews to collect more detailed comment on the current status, problems and direction of school social work case management education. The study results showed that social welfare course in regular university curriculum was about 71%, case management education course was to open approximately 48% and were found to have a case management information on school social work curriculum covers approximately 80%. The difficulties of school social work case management education operating in university were the lack of time to teach the case management, the lack of a specific application examples to use during class, the lack of sufficient understanding on the uniqueness of school field, the variations of students' understanding according to whether case management education course completion. the lack of textbooks and related materials and the lack of field experience of educators. And we have some suggestions for the role of the preferred university school social work case management education content and methods and development measures, and the role of the institutes and associations for case management education. Based on this result, we suggest some direction and development measures for school social welfare case management education in the university.
