ASD 아동에 CABAS® 모델을 적용한 응용행동분석 기반의 조기집중행동중재: 사례연구

초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 자폐스펙트럼장애(ASD) 진단을 받은 2세 4개월의 남아가 CABAS® (The Comprehensive Application of Behavior Analysis to Schooling) 모델의 조기집중행동중재(Early Intensive Behavior Intervention) 프로그램을 받고 그 효과성을 알아보기 위한 사례연구이다. 중재 시작 시 연구 대상은 1세 11개월로 전문의와의 상담을 통해 ABA기반의 EIBI 중재를 결정하였다. 연구방법: 중재 프로그램은 CABAS® 모델을 기반으로 한 EIBI를 중재를 주 4일, 하루 3시간씩, 총 12시간의 중재를 2년간 실시하였다. 연구결과 및 결론: ABA 기반의 EIBI 중재가 자폐스펙트럼장애 아동의 교육 및 발달평가, 언어평가에서 긍정적인 효과성을 입증하였다. 이러한 연구 결과에 따라 연구의 제한점과 향후 연구의 방향성을 제시하였으며, 이를 통해 자폐스펙트럼장애 아동의 균형적인 발달을 돕기 위한 다양한 중재방법의 모색에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 본다.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the Early Intensive Behavior Intervention program of the CABAS® (The Comprehensive Application of Behavior Analysis to Schooling) model for 2-year-old and 4-month-old boys diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Method: At the start of the intervention, this is a case study to find out the study subject was 1 year and 11 months old, and ABA-based EIBI intervention was decided upon through consultation with a specialist. The intervention program was an EIBI intervention based on the CABAS® model, 4 days a week, 3 hours a day, for a total of 12 hours of intervention, for 2 years. Results: ABA-based EIBI intervention had proven positive effectiveness in education, developmental evaluation, and language evaluation of children with autism spectrum disorder. Conclusion: According to these research results, limitations of the study and directions for future research were presented, which was expected to contribute to the search for various intervention methods to help the balanced development of children with autism spectrum disorder.
