한국 청소년역량의 잠재계층과 가족특성: 잠재프로파일분석(LPA)을 이용하여

초록

본 연구는 우리나라 청소년의 역량이 생애학습, 생활관리, 진로개발, 대인관계, 사회참여 5대 영역 16개 하위 영역에서 어떻게 발달되어 있는지 그 실태 및 잠재집단을 파악하고 각 집단에 따른 가족요인의 특성을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 “청소년역량지수 측정 및 국제비교연구”에 사용된 청소년역량의 개념과 구성영역을 포함하여 조사 데이터를 활용하였으며 전국 초, 중, 고등학생 1만 여명의 자료를 분석하였다. 청소년역량의 발달현황 파악을 위해 대상자 중심의 분석인 잠재프로파일분석(LPA)을 진행하였다. 또한 교차분석을 통해 역량의 잠재집단에 따른 가정환경의 특성과 차이를 파악하였다. LCA결과 대상자의 잠재집단은 총 5개의 집단으로 유형화할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 유형은 평균에 따라 계층화 되어 있으며 “최상위 역량집단”, “중상위 역량집단”, “중위 역량집단”, “중하위 역량집단”, “최하위 역량집단”으로 명칭을 부여하였다. 각 집단에 따라 가족요인을 교차분석한 결과, 가족구조, 보호자학력, 경제수준, 양육태도 모두 유의미한 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

Abstract

This study shows the way of development of youth competence in Korea in 16 subareas among the 5 main areas lifelong learning, life management, career development, interpersonal relationship and social participation and acknowledge difference of family environment according to the potential groups. The report “A study on measurement of Korean Youth Competency and International Comparison” in 2015 which has been processed in National Youth Policy Institute since 2014 is referred to in this analysis. The analyzed data including the concept of youth competence and compositional area is utilized, and about 10 thousand elementary, middle, high school students ware engaged in the survey. To acknowledge the states of youth competence development, LPA(Latent Profile Analysis) is being processed up for subject and the way of typing in Korean youth competence development is checked through the analysis. Moreover, the characteristic and difference of family environment according to the potential groups through the cross analysis are determined. The analysis result of LCA represents that potential groups could be classified into a total of 5 groups. It is shown that these classified groups have differences depending on the level of each area and are stratified according to the average of each group. Therefore, the groups have been endowed the titles “most significant competence group”, “mid-upper competence group”, “middle competence group”, “mid-lower competence group” and “lowest competence group”. As the result of cross analysis of family factors according to each group have significant difference.
