아동학대 및 학교폭력 피해경험과 청년기 사회적 고립의 관계에서 사회성 기술의 매개효과

초록

본 연구는 심각한 사회문제로 대두되고 있는 청년의 사회적 고립에 주목하고 예측요인으로아동․청소년기 부정적 사건인 아동학대와 학교폭력을 살펴보았다. 또한 아동학대 및 학교폭력 피해 경험과 청년기 사회적 고립과의 관계에서 사회성 기술의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 제시한 연구문제는 첫째, 아동학대와 학교폭력 피해경험은 청년기 사회적 고립에 영향을 미치는가? 둘째, 사회성 기술은 아동학대 및 학교폭력 피해경험과 청년기 사회적고립의 관계를 매개하는가? 이다. 연구문제 검증을 위해 설문조사를 실시했으며, 설문에 응답한 19-39세 청년 513명의 자료를 SPSS 25.0과 PROCESS macro for SPSS V.4.0으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 아동학대와 학교폭력 피해경험이 청년의 사회적 고립에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 둘째, 아동학대 및 학교폭력 피해경험과 청년기 사회적 고립의 관계에서 사회성 기술의 매개효과를 확인하였다. 분석결과를 통해 아동학대 및 학교폭력 피해가심각할수록 사회성 기술이 낮아지고, 낮아진 사회성 기술이 청년기 사회적 고립 수준을 증가시키고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로 결론에서는 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 청년의 사회적고립을 예방하기 위한 실천적․정책적 방안에 대하여 논의하였다.

Abstract

This study focuses on the social isolation of young adults, an emerging problem in Korean society, and examines child abuse and school violence as predictive factors. Also, this study examines the mediating effect of social skills in the relationship between experiences of child abuse and school violence and social isolation of young adults. The research questions for this purpose were as follows: First, how do child abuse and school violence affect the social isolation of young adults? Second, do social skills mediate the relationship between child abuse and school violence and the social isolation of young adults? For this, an online survey was conducted using a questionnaire, and data from 513 young adults aged 19-39 were analyzed with PROCESS macro 4.0. The results of the study are as follows: First, both child abuse and school violence had direct effects on the social isolation of young adults. Second, the mediating effects of social skills was confirmed in the relationship between child abuse, school violence, and social isolation of young adults. In the conclusion, based on the above research results, interventions to decrease and prevent the social isolation among young adults are suggested.
