과거 응보적 정의를 중심으로 한 형벌방식은 범죄자들의 재범방지에 실패하였고, 근대 이후 재사회화를 목적으로 하는 교화방식이 영미와 유럽, 그리고 우리나라에서도 주류를 이루고 있다. 나아가 최근에는 국외에서 가해자를 피해자, 가정, 지역사회등과 화해를 모색하고 온전하게 사회복귀 시킴으로써 재범을 예방하는 방식인 회복적사법정의에 근거한 교정복지가 관심을 받고 있는데, 아직 국내에는 이에 관한 관심과도입이 부족한 실정이다. 교정복지는 범죄경력자들에게 정상적인 삶을 제공하기 위한 교화적 개입을 의미하며, 이에는 생존에 필수적인 직업 요인이 매우 중요하다. 특히 범죄경력자들에게 직업유지는 재사회화에 미치는 영향이 크다. 그러나 선행연구를 살펴본 결과, 이들의 직업적응에 영향을 주는 요인이나 직업 유무로 나타나는 차이에 관한 연구는 어느 정도이루어졌으나, 이들이 직업을 유지하는 기간이 재범에 미치는 직･간접적인 영향과 경로, 그리고 가족관계, 사회적 지지와 같은 환경 요인의 영향에 관한 실증 연구는 이루어진 바가 없다. 이에 본 연구는 실증적 탐색과 검증을 수행했다는 점에서 연구의 의의를 찾을 수 있다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 범죄경력자의 재범을 억제하기 위한 근원적 전략으로이들의 안정적인 취업과 그 유지의 역할의 중요성을 검증하고, 이 과정에서 가족관계의 매개 효과와 사회적 지지의 조절된 매개 효과를 확인하였다. 그 결과, 범죄경력자들의 직업유지 기간은 재범에 직접 효과를 보였고, 가족관계는이를 매개하는 간접효과를 보였으며, 사회적 지지는 이 간접효과를 조절하는 효과가있음이 통계적으로 확인되었다.
Abstract
The punishment method focused on the retributive justice in the past failed to prevent the recidivism of criminals, and the edification method aimed at resocialization after the modern era is mainstream in the Anglo-American, European and Korean countries. Furthermore, recently, correction welfare based on the Restorative Judicial Justice, a way to prevent recidivism by seeking reconciliation with victims, families, and local communities and returning to society in a complete manner, is receiving attention from the overseas country, but There is still a lack of interest and introduction in Korea. Correction welfare means edification intervention to provide normal life to ex-prisoner, and occupational factors essential for survival are very important to it. Especially, the job maintenance has a great influence on resocialization for ex-prisoner. However, as a result of examining the previous studies, some studies have been conducted on the difference between factors affecting their job adaptation and whether they have a job, but There has been no empirical study on the direct and indirect effects of the period of their occupation on recidivism, and the effects of environmental factors such as family relationship and social support. Therefore, this study has significance in that it conducted research and verification about that. In this regard, this s tudy v erifies the importance o f stable employment and the role of maintaining this as a fundamental strategy to suppress recidivism of ex-prisoner, and confirmed the mediation effect of family relations and the moderated mediation effect of social support in this process. As a result, the period of occupation maintenance of ex-prisoner had a direct effect on recidivism, family relations had an indirect effect mediating it, and social support had a statistically significant effect moderating this indirect effect.
