본 연구의 목적은 보조공학서비스의 전체 과정과 요소를 도출하는 것이었다. 이를 위해 선행 연구와 전문 기관들의 자료를 분석하여 보조공학서비스 예비 과정 및 요소들을 구성하고 2009～2010년 사이에 14명의 장애인에게 적용하였으며 5명의 전문가 조사를 통해 구성된 요소들의 적합성을 분석하였다. 영역별로 중복적인 요소들을 삭제 통합하는 작업이 주로 이루어졌으며, 사례자의 보조공학 요구와 보조공학기기 제공 과정과 품목을 명확히 기재할 수 있도록 요소들을 조정하였다. 그 결과 보조공학서비스 과정은 상담평가(12개의 대분류 요소), 기능평가(5개의 대분류 요소), 종합계획(6개의 대분류 요소), 맞춤제작(7개의 대분류 요소), 종결보고(7개의 대분류 요소), 사후관리(5개의 대분류 요소)로 제시되었다. 각 단계의 대분류 요소들은 다시 중분류, 소분류로 구분되어 체크하거나 기록의 형식으로 문서화할 수 있게 구성하였다. 본 연구는 보조공학서비스의 복잡하고 광범위한 내용을 구조화하고 단계별 요소들의 적정성에 대한 분석을 하였다는데 의의가 있다. 향후에는 보다 많은 연구 참여자들을 대상으로 서비스 요소를 분석하여 결과의 신뢰도와 타당도를 높이는 연구가 수행되어야 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of the study was to construct a process and factors of assistive technology service. The researchers analyzed previous literature and institutes that have longitudinal experience in assistive technology service. We made preliminary assistive technology service process and factors in it to apply for 14persons with disabilities from 2009 to 2010 and to analyze appropriateness of the factors by collecting 5 experts' advices for every factor. As a result, the assistive technology process included consultation & assessment (12 categories),functional evaluation (5 categories), planing (6 categories), customized manufacture (7 categories), conclusion (7 categories), and follow-up service (5categories). Each process has overall categories and specific factors in each category for documentation of check or description. The study structured complex and wide scope of assistive technology service and analyzed factors in each process. In the future data from more participants with disabilities and experts should be studied and analyzed for securing higher reliability and validity.
